ASEAN INTERNSHIP FOR UNIVERSITY STUDENTS OF HONG KONG SCHEME- INVITATION TO PARTICIPATE
We understand from the HKETO that 2015 is the second year of the internship scheme’s implementation, which has met with most encouraging responses with over 250 internship places secured. Eventually, some 200 have been successfully matched in 8 ASEAN countries involving 75 organisations. These host organisations included international organisations, think-tanks, arts and cultural groups, private companies, universities etc. The feedbacks received so far are most encouraging, the simple design of the scheme and students' good performances are among the positive comments received.
The 2016 round of the internship scheme is about to begin. The HKETO has invited our Association to help promote the scheme to our members, including your goodself. The internship scheme is simple (details appended below), the only requirement from the HKETO for your organisation to become a host organisation under the scheme is the provision of internship opportunit(ies) with proper coaching. For those interested in participating, please complete the form and return to the HKETO, most preferably, by end September 2015. Enquiries regarding the internship scheme can be directed to Ms Avril Chi, Public Relations Assistant of the HKETO email: avril_chi@hketosin.gov.hk or tel: (65) 6330 9345.
